Method of preserving endemic germ plasm (vegetable resources) by using stationary and mobile, in situ and ex situ 'seed banks'

There is disclosed a system (set of techniques, machines and equipments capable of controlling light, temperature, and humidity, and aiming at controlling germination and development of seeds and vegetal tissues) which is either stationary or mobile and capable of modifying positively the physical, chemical, biochemical characteristics of the vegetable products (germ plasm). There are used "sites" under controlled atmosphere where the control of light, temperature, and humidity, and the presence of inert gases such as N2 or CO2 (each controlled as an independent variable of the system) cause the quick germination and the following vegetative development of the germ plasm both in situ and ex situ.
