PURPOSE: A user definition protocol producing method capable of performing an interface between a clinical pathology automation apparatus and a host computer is provided. CONSTITUTION: The user definition protocol producing method for an interface between a clinical pathology automation apparatus and a host computer, the method comprising the steps: receiving non-processing data from a central processing unit of a host system through a serial interface and converting the received non-processing data into usable data through a user terminal unit to produce a user interface protocol; and converting the non-processing data from the central processing unit into an usable data by using the user interface protocol.
