PURPOSE: A frequency assignment device is provided to accept increasing subscribers by offering variability in using of a wide area wireless paging service system and to efficiently use channels. CONSTITUTION: A frequency assignment device is formed by; a subscriber registration piece(304) to store the numbers and channel information of the subscribers of the wide area wireless paging; a frequency assignment piece(150) to assign the frequency according to an output request while storing the frequency of the channel; and a channel distribution piece to distribute the channel having extra frequency by being input with the channel information of the wide area wireless paging.
