PURPOSE: A poly(p-phenylene-vinylene) derivative for organic LEDs is provided which has higher glass transition temperature and is soluble in organic solvent. CONSTITUTION: Poly£2-methoxy-5-(ethoxylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene-1,2-ethenylene-2,5-dimethoxy-1,4-phenylene-1,2-ethenylene|(M3EH-PPV) is poly(p-phenylene-vinylene)(PPV) derivative,which has higher glass transition temperature(108C) and is soluble in organic solvent. Its high glass transition temperature enables organic LEDs to be operated at a broad range of temperature. Especially, M3EH-PPV is easily manipulated in the form of the film because it is soluble in organic solvent.
