PURPOSE: A seam collecting device for an automatic washing machine is provided to effectively collect seams and naps contained in the washing water drawn up between an inner washing tub and an outer washing tub by the centrifugal force according to the rotation of high speed of the inner washing tub. CONSTITUTION: The seam collecting device for the whole automatic washing machine comprises: a seam collecting container(121) connected in a passage(114) between an upper tub cover(111) and a lower tub cover(112) to collect naps and seams contained in the washing water supplied into an inner washing tub(103) by drawing up between the inner washing tub(103) and an outer washing tub(102) by the centrifugal force according to the rotation of high speed of the inner washing tub(103) connected in a washing machine(101); and the seam collecting container(121) having a body(122) formed by a net to collect seams, and a handle(124) formed in a front plate(123) connected with the body(122) to remove the body(122) between the upper tub cover(111) and the low tub cover(122).
