FORGED STEEL REINFORCING ROLL FOR ROLLING HAVING EXCELLENT ABRASION-RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A reinforcing roll for rolling is provided to have excellent abrasion-resistance and tenacity-resistance. CONSTITUTION: A forged steel-reinforcing roll for rolling is composed of 0.35 to 0.80wt% of carbon, 0.25 to 0.80wt% of silicon, 0.35 to 1.5wt% of manganese, 0.2 to 1.5wt% of nickel, 4.0 to 6.0wt% of chrome, 0.5 to 1.5wt% of molybdenum, 0.05 to 0.5wt% of vanadium, under 0.1% of niobium and the rest of iron and impurities. The reinforcing roll improves tenacity and a fatigue strength by obtaining a marten site structure while hardening and by improving abrasion resistance as increasing hardening performance of a material by adding niobium and by increasing an additional amount of nickel, chrome, molybdenum, vanadium and so on.
