ORAL PREPARATION FORMULA CONTAINING S-(3-HYDROXYPROPYL)-L-CYSTEIN

PURPOSE: A solid formulation containing S-(3-hydroxypropyl)-L-cystein for oral preparation which does not be decolorized after a long period of storage is provided by mixing with a vehicle of substantially, only starch or cyclodextrin. CONSTITUTION: An oral preparation formula comprises S -(3-hydroxypropyl)-L-cystein(HPCY) which is useful as an expectorant and a vehicle which substantially contains only starch, or cyclodextrin. The starch which can be used for this formulation includes corn starch, potato starch, wheat starch, rice starch and the mixtures thereof, and the cyclodextrin, for example, includes alpha-cyclodextrin, beta-cyclodextrin, gamma-cyclodextrin and the mixtures thereof. The used amount is not particularly limited, but starch or cyclodextrin is used 0.01-8parts by weight, and preferably 0.02-4 parts by weight, per 1 part by weight of HPCY.
