PURPOSE: A way to establish range of body fat by gaussian function approximate value in tomogram is provided for establishing automatically the scope of a body fat used in measuring the body fat by using computerization tomogram through gaussian function approximate value by list square way. CONSTITUTION: A way to establish range of body fat by gaussian function approximate value in tomogram comprises: separating inside from outside of abdominal cavity in measuring amount of body fat inside of abdominal cavity by using computerization tomogram.; making histogram to hounce field value of outside and inside of abdominal cavity; approximating histogram to gaussian function by list square method; and establishing the range of the body fat by location of peak and width of gaussian function.
