PURPOSE: A method for searching primary data of convergence control for projection television is provided to search a primary data for controlling convergence and to recognize change of convergence according to the data. CONSTITUTION: A method for searching primary data of convergence control for projection television comprises the steps of: outputting search data and address data inputted through a process of inputting a key, on an OSD(On Screen Display) screen; variously setting up the search data and the address data; reading the set data by storing the data; repeatedly outputting the read search data and the address data; and controlling convergence by inputting the outputted data to a convergence IC(Integrated Circuit).
