PURPOSE: A preparing method of gasoline having a low sulfur content is provided which makes a quality of the total oiliness in the sulfur-containing gasoline be exclusive, and decrease significantly the content of total sulfur and mercaptan in gasoline, so it minimizes the decrease of the octane under without the decrease of gasoline production yield. CONSTITUTION: A preparing method of gasoline having a low sulfur content is composed of the following steps of isolating a sulfur containing gasoline into a hard oiliness and a moderate oiliness by selecting an oiliness point to maximize the olefin content in the hard oiliness; hydrogenating and desulfurizing the hard oiliness in the presence of nickel catalyst; hydrogenating and desulfurizing the moderate oiliness in the presence of catalysts containing one or more of VIII family metals and/or one or more of VIB family metals; and mixing the desulfurized oiliness.
