METHOD FOR MANAGING ALLOCATION OF CARS IN WEB-BASED FREIGHTAGE INFORMATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing allocation of cars is provided so that the cars can be efficiently allocated, by providing empty car information, position information and allocation result information to a web browser in a real time in the form of a text through a global positioning system(GPS) and a wireless data network in a web-based freightage information system. CONSTITUTION: A freightage information web server(15) inquires freight information upon the request of a web client(20) by operating a car allocation program, and outputs the freight information to the web client(20). According to a freight of the freight information selected by a user, a car allocation list is output to the web client(20), or an empty car list is output to the web client(20), together with the state and position information of the cars. According to the inquiry result for the empty cars, the user of the web client(20) selects a car to be allocated with reference to the position and state of the cars.
