PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing sintered ores is provided to increase combustion speed and to enhance the quality of production and productivity by securing air permeability of a sintered layer through the change in particle size ratio between powder limestone and powder coke. CONSTITUTION: A dwight lioyd-type sintering apparatus mixes powder coke with powder iron ores, silica and limestone. The surface of a charging layer is ignited through heat of an ignition furnace by making the mixture pass the ignition furnace continuously. Finally, the sintered ore is manufactured by combustion heat of the powder coke.
