PURPOSE: A dimensional stable polyester dipped tire cord and dipped tire cord fabrics is provided which has excellent uniformity, low incipient modulus and low heat shrinkage by using a polyester yarn. CONSTITUTION: A polyester yarn is comprised of polyethyleneterephthalate of at least 90mol%, inherent viscosity of at least 0.9dl/g, crystallinity of no more than 20%, birefringence of no more than 0.19, strength of at least 3.0g/d, melting point of no more than 255C and staple of 2-5denier. The polyester dipped tire cord is comprised of crystallinity of no more than 40%, birefringence of no more than 0.19, strength of at least of 3.0g/d, medium elongation measured at load of 2.0g/d of 15-30% and dry shrinkage measured under condition of 177C by 2min by 0.008g/d of no more than 1.0%.
