PURPOSE: A method for gathering statistics of each user group connection using an image method on a web document is provided to gather efficiently statistics of each user group connected to a cookie. CONSTITUTION: A method for gathering statistics of each user group connection using an image method on a web document comprises the following steps. The number of connection is stored by decoding cookie for image setting according to an image transmission request from a web browser of a user. LVT(Last Visit Time), CEP(Cookie Effectiveness Period), and IEP(Image Effectiveness Period) are set a predetermined value. The statistical process of each connection number section is performed according to each URL with the LVT and the connection number of the cookie. The statistical information is provided according to a request of the user.
