PURPOSE: A method for growing potatoes in a liquid nutrition medium and culture broth compositions used in each growing step are provided for optimizing the growing condition of potatoes, thereby its productivity is improved. CONSTITUTION: A compositions for growing potatoes consist of KNO3, Ca(NO3)2-4H2O, NH4H2PO4, MgSO4-7H2O, Fe-EDTA, H3BO3, ZnSO4-4H2O, MnSO4-4H2O, CuSO4-5H2O, and (NH4)6Mn7O24-4H2O and divided into six groups each for 5 days, 6 to 17 days, 18 to 29 days, 30 to 39 days, 40 to 44 days, 45 to 54 days, and more than 55 days after growth, in which the component ratio of each composition and providing method of each composition are different. Three different culture media, A, B, and C medium, prefereably A medium, are used for the seed culture of potatoes, in which the components ratio is different.
