Purpose: a kind of method, the text letters for reducing by a TV are sized to shrink the size of teletext letter, in order to increase legibility. Construction: a kind of method includes fyord for reducing the size of text letters of a TV to pass through third step. At the first step (S102), if text is present in current program from information increased on broadcast singal to determine. At second step (S106), when the text first step is present in current program, if the reception of text letter broadcast is determined being detected.
