PURPOSE: An amino class thermosetting resin is provided which is used as a glue to make boards in which the amount of discharging formaldehyde is greatly decreased and physical properties, especially in water-proofing, interior binding strength or so on are greatly improved. CONSTITUTION: A production process of amino class thermosetting resin is as follows: (1) a first addition process wherein an urea and a formaldehyde are added to make the mole ratio between aldehyde and amino group 2.5-3.5 in pH 7.5-9.0 and a temperature is slowly raised to 40-65°C; (2) a second addition process wherein the first addition reactant is controlled in pH 8-11 and a melamine is added at 40-65°C to make the mole ratio between aldehyde and amino group 1.5-2.0; (3) a first polymerization process which raises the temperature to 75-95°C to polycondensate; (4) a second polymerization process wherein the first polymerization reactant is controlled in pH 8-11 and 5-28 wt% of a melamine is added to polycondensate at 75-95°C; and (5) a third polymerization process wherein the first addition reactant is controlled in pH 7-10 and 0-5 wt% of urea or melanine is added to make the final mole ratio between aldehyde and amino group 1.0-1.8.
