PURPOSE: A method for a remote conversation with a television and an apparatus for doing the same and a computer program product implementing remote conversation method are provided to support program capability of video cassette recorder. CONSTITUTION: A method for a remote conversation with a television includes a first through a third steps. At the first step(82), a program schedule is down loaded on a first apparatus. At the second step(88), the program schedule is navigated in order to select a program out of the schedule of the first apparatus. At the third step(98), a signal corresponding to the program is transmitted to the television system.
