NARROW-BAND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY-BAND PASS FILTER

PURPOSE: A narrow-band superconductivity-band pass filter is provided to enhance the capabilities of a filter so as to make it more compact by using a high-temperature superconductor. CONSTITUTION: A narrowband superconductive passband filter comprises a substrate(1), a grounding phase(2), a feed line(3), a resonator(4), and a link pad(5). A substrate(1) is made from materials such as LaAIO3, MgO. A grounding phase(2) is made from superconductor such as YBa2Cu3O7-8. A gold thin film(6) is formed over a grounding phase(2). A feed line(3) and a resonator(4) are made from superconductor. A link pad(50) is produced by forming a gold thin film(6) over a superconductive feed line such as YBa2Cu3O7-8 so as to connect with a microwave link element such as SMA connector. A length of a resonator(4) is determined to be 1/2 of the wavelength which is to be passed. A resonator(4) looks like a headband or a horse's hood. The number of resonators(4) could be determined by the users.
