METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SYNCHRONIZING PID CONTROLLER USING RELAY FEEDBACK

PURPOSE: A method for automatically synchronizing a PID controller is provided to prevent the waste of time and expenses by obtaining optimum initial PID control variables with a process plant. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: determining whether a relay lab 1.0 version(S301); setting an initializing and object plant(S302); storing and verifying an output waveform of a selected plant(S303); judging whether a first pre-tuning is performed(S304); repeating the step S302 if the first pre-tuning is not performed in the step S304 and carrying out and storing the first pre-tuning if the first pre-tuning is carried out(S305); determining whether a second pre-tuning is performed(S306); and carrying out and storing the second pre-tuning if the second pre-tuning is performed in the step S306(S307).
