Automated On-Line community generation system and service for majors/departments in universities

PURPOSE: A system and method for automatically generating an online school class and community are provided for forming a big scale online community and automatically forming a person, school class, student ID number, and school home page based on an online community. CONSTITUTION: A user(100) visits a web service(120) developed using an internet(110) and receives the following services using the following apparatuses. A personal home page automatic forming unit(130) automatically forms a major-based personal home page. A community automatic generation unit(140) surfs a community by a user. A favorite page generation unit(15) bookmarks a certain information site by the user. A processing apparatus storing unit(160) is formed of a personal home page information DB having an information for forming a personal home page, a personal preference information DB formed using a registration information by the user, a user information DB formed based on a user's registration, a category information DB and content information DB for forming a community, and an index information DB for searching an information from the main community site.
