The present invention provides a method for enhancing the organoleptic quality of the meat of an uncastrated male livestock. Vaccines usable with this method, in particular novel peptides for producing this vaccine, and vaccine response kits related thereto.;Methods for improving sensory quality, particularly fragrance, taste and tenderness, in meat of non-castrated male livestock include the activation of androgen- and non-androgen-based steroids by active or passive anti-LHRH immunoneutralization immediately before slaughter of the animal to be tested. Benefits associated with male traits in animals include maintaining substantially until slaughter. The vaccine contains a peptide of the general formula Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH 2 or a natural LHRH that binds to an immunogenic transduction protein.
