ANALYSIS METHOD OF VIBRATORY PATTERNS OF VOCAL FOLDS USING VIDEO DATA RECORDED BY CONVENTIONAL VIDEOSTROBOSCOPY

PURPOSE: A videostrobokymography for analyzing an activity of a vocal fold mucosa is provided to extract a clinical index by enabling a user to observe an activity of a vocal fold and to form a kymogram for preference areas selected. CONSTITUTION: 128 frames of moving pictures of a vocal fold are loaded to a memory of a computer through an image grabbing board(210). The frames are formed as still images and displayed on a monitor. In addition, a menu screen is formed and displayed(220). A kymogram successively arrayed on the basis of a time base is displayed on a window screen(230). In case that a user wants to store the kymogram displayed using a mouse or a keyboard, the kymogram video displayed and line position information are stored(240). All sorts of indexes normalized on the vocal fold are displayed(250).
