PURPOSE: A governor of a fuel injection apparatus is provided to improve precision degree of control by operating feedback control via an actuator and a sensor, to satisfy performance needed by an engine by making possible complete free control, and to keep injection control function for a long period of time by preventing degradation of components due to long time use. CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection apparatus controlling injection flow by operation of a control rack(3) has a timer(2) in a portion of a pump housing(1). An actuator is prepared by connecting a mobile plate(4) to the control rack via a pin(5) to be slidable along a guide hole(4'), rotatably connecting the mobile plate to a staple-shaped yoke(7) including an electronic coil(6) via a pin(13), and fixing the yoke in an actuator housing via a bolt(9). The actuator is installed in the pump housing. In a contact face of the pump housing and the actuator housing, such a sealing(11) as an O ring or a gasket is installed to prevent invasion of impurities into the actuator. Upon applying currents to the electronic coil, the mobile plate rotates counterclockwise by an electromagnetic force. With response to rotation of the mobile plate, the control rack linearly moves to the left and right. Thus, fuel quantity is controlled. Then, a rotational force of the mobile plate is varied depending on the amount of currents. Different between a target value and a signal of a sensor is compensated by pulse width control. Therefore, the control rack approaches an accurate target value.
