PURPOSE: A developer of a wet printer capable of cleaning photo conductive medium and a method for cleaning photo conductive medium using the same are provided to clean the photo conductive medium by using the structure of the developer itself. CONSTITUTION: The developer of the wet printer capable of photo conductive medium cleaning includes a developing liquid bowel(142), a developing liquid supply(150), a developing roller(143), a squeeze roller(145,146) and a container(171). The developing liquid bowel contains the developing liquid. The developing liquid supply supplies the developing liquid to the developing liquid bower. The developing roller is rotatably fixed in the developing liquid bower so as to maintain a predetermined developing gap from the photo conductive medium. The squeeze roller is contacted with the photo conductive medium and separates a carrier implemented on a latent electrostatic image region and/or a toner by pressing during rotation. The container collects the developing liquid in the developing liquid bower during cleaning mode. The squeeze roller is rotated in the direction opposite to that of the photo conductive medium sliding direction so as to reject the toner and/or carrier on the photo conductive medium.
