A STRUCTURAL BODY OF ELECTRON-GUN FOR COLOR CRT

PURPOSE: A global body of an electron gun for color cathode ray tube is provided to prevent a distortion effect of a spot by improving structures of electron beam passing holes of the first and the second grids. CONSTITUTION: A global body of an electron gun for color cathode ray tube comprises cathodes(31a,31b,31c) for emitting electron beams, heaters(32a,32b,32c), the first grid(51), the second grid(52), and the third grid(53). The first grid(51) is formed with electron beam passing holes(51a,51b,51c). The electron beam passing holes(51a,51b,51c) of the first grid(51) have a length a vertical direction longer than a length of a horizontal direction. The second grid(52) is formed with electron beam passing holes(52a,52b,52c). The electron beam passing holes(52a,52b,52c) of the second grid(52) have a length a horizontal direction longer than a length of a vertical direction.
