APPARATUS FOR TESTING DURABILITY OF VENTILATION DUCT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing durability of ventilation duct is provided to achieve improved quality of product by allowing a user to easily perceive a wear state of knob. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises an operation unit, a support member lifting unit and a sensing unit. The operation unit includes a finger(16) fixed to a knob(2); a cylinder(10) connected to the finger through rods(12,13); an air pump(19) for feeding air from an air tank(18) so as to allow the cylinder to operate; and a check valve(20) for controlling the air being transferred from the air pump through a hose. The support member lifting unit includes a base(21) having a plurality of guide holes(22) for adjusting height of the operation unit, and which is fixed to a floor panel of a vehicle body; a support member(23) including a guide bar(24) to be inserted into the guide holes; and a worm gear(25) formed integrally with a handle(28) so as to lift the support member, and which rotates by a helical gear(26). The sensing unit includes a displacement measuring unit(30) for measuring the displacement of a piston(11) installed in the cylinder; a load cell(29) installed to the rod so as to allow the cylinder to operate at a predetermined force; an amplifier(33) for amplifying signals output from the displacement measuring unit and load cell; and a recorder(34) for graphing the signal amplified by the amplifier. The sensing unit permits a user to directly check, through the user's eyes, an operating force of the operation unit.
