PURPOSE: A screen tilt compensating device for an image displaying apparatus is provided to be capable of simplifying the fixing process of a tilt coil for fastening a coil pack to a deflection yoke, of enhancing workability by easily mounting the deflection yoke to a panel part of a braun tube, and of enhancing reliability by accurately positioning the tilt coil. CONSTITUTION: The image displaying apparatus consists a braun tube for displaying the images, and a deflection yoke(11) for deflecting an electron beam. A coil pack(12) having a tilt coil(14) wound on a panel part of the braun tube is mounted integral with the deflection yoke(11) for preventing the images from being tilted by the influence of external magnetic field, whereby compensating current is supplied to the tilt coil(14) to generate a compensating magnetic field for compensating the external magnetic field.
