FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to design of components of bridge superstructures made of metal and concrete. Combined steel and reinforced concrete bridge superstructure comprises concrete slab and steel girder preferably of double-tee cross-section. Welded to upper girth of girder in perpendicular to flange are flexible rod-like stops located in rows in concrete slab. Each flexible rod-like stop is in the form of rod with head in its upper part. In each extreme row, distance from axis of rod to edge of flange of steel girder is equal to not less than three diameters of rod. Rods of one row are located in plan at pitch not less than 0.15 mm. Rods of one row can be located in plan with displacement in plan relative to rods of another adjacent row equal at least to value of rod head diameter. Aforesaid arrangement of members in superstructure design ensures higher load-bearing capacity of structure together with reduced metal-input and allowing for smoother transmission of shearing forces from metal to reinforced concrete slab.
