FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to library of peptides immobilized on solid-phase carrier which represents unordered library of unprotected peptides containing numerous solid-phase carriers wherein one unprotected peptide type is bound to each solid-phase carrier and all statistically possible subunit combinations are included. Preparation of library involves introduction of subunit combination into solid-phase carrier aliquot in such a way as to introduce only one protected subunit into each aliquot, after which subunit is covalently bound to all reactive groups of solid-phase carrier and blocking and protective are removed. For identification of peptide, an active molecule specifically linking to library peptides is added to form complex, which is separated and peptide sequence therein is determined.
