FIELD: high-speed vertical-impeller water meters. SUBSTANCE: impeller-accommodating housing interior communicates through inlet and outlet passages with respective pipe connections of housing. Pipe connections are arranged on center line crossing axis of revolution of impeller, Channel parts abutting against housing interior are eccentric to axis of revolution of impeller, unidirectional with this axis, and elongated in cross-sectional area in direction parallel to impeller axis. Meter speed is higher than that specified for class D of high-speed water meters. EFFECT: improved sensitivity of meter. 6 dwg
