FIELD: acoustic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method enables testing multitude of engineering processes to base scientifically utilization of nonlinear acoustics. Experimental method comprises process in flow liquid or gas medium to form linear acoustic oscillations by means of special device forming linear acoustic oscillations by permitting medium to flow through one rectangular-section hole with its width inferior to its height with frequency determined by product of rotor rotation number and number of pulses in medium arising during one rotation. Above-named oscillations interact with linear acoustic oscillations of medium. Frequency range of pulse excitements of medium is adapted to process. EFFECT: reduced expenses. 5 dwg
