FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, monitoring of technical condition of machines in nominal load mode. SUBSTANCE: device uses analysis of amplitude values of high- frequency and basic harmonic inductance frequencies of external magnetic field induced in electromagnetic detectors, which are mounted on external surface of device housing. Alteration of threshold levels of comparators provides tuning of device to arbitrary type of synchronous machine. EFFECT: decreased cost, increased reliability and speed. 1 dwg
