METHOD OF REPAIR OF HIGH-RISE FACTORY CHIMNEYS

FIELD: civil engineering; repair of factory chimneys. SUBSTANCE: after partial or complete disassembling of lining it is replaced or reinforced by fibrous concrete envelope placed in single-side closed formworks forming, together with inner surface of chimney a ring space to be filled-in with fibrous concrete to be compacted by needle vibrator. Placement of concrete is carried out from lining platform lifted by electric winches with wire rope guide pulleys located on lining platform and provided with safeguards. Fibrous concrete is placed for covering entire thickness of envelope over perimeter of formwork. Fibrous concrete is delivered to lining platform in special containers using special hoisting devices. Proposed method provides improved tightness of lining and its uniform thickness, increased resistance to cracking, impermeability to gases, fumes and condensate, reduced coefficient of aerodynamic losses caused by friction against lining. EFFECT: improved aerodynamic characteristics of chimney, increased service life of lining and chimney shaft at minimum thickness of envelope with guaranteed quality of lining, increase capacity of repair and reduced specific expenses for repair work. 2 cl, 1 dwg
