FIELD: mineral mining and exploration. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with gravity offshore platform for drilling wells and recovery of oil and gas on continental shelf operating in freezing seas. Composite platform has superstructure and supporting unit resting on sea bottom. Supporting unit carries superstructure and includes reinforced concrete caisson superstructure with ballast compartments and at least one steel module for passing drilling and process pipes resting on it and rigidly connected to it, and through holes with guard tubes to pass drilling and process pipes, and formed in caisson superstructure and in steel module. Caisson superstructure is made with height below sea level at point of platform operation. Steel module has ballast compartments and its height is above sea level at point of platform operation exceeding height of maximum rated waves for the given region of sea. Steel module is provided with ice belt. Steel module may have common hole of shaft type with internal solid side members to pass drilling and process pipes. The pipes in this hole are arranged in the form of single bunch, and space confined by deck of caisson superstructure and internal side members of steel module is filled with solid ballast. Platform design allows loading of ballast within short period of time and ensures high ecological safety of platform in seismic and other external emergencies. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 4 dwg
