FIELD: location of position in radio communication systems. SUBSTANCE: signals used for exchange between stationary infrastructure and mobile station provide for M metrics of quality of channels, each of them being displayed by means of specified interrelations M corresponding to dispersions of time of arrival. Differential weight matrix of time of arrival that partially includes difference dispersions of time of arrival is used to compute solution by weighted least- squares technique and this solution is evaluation of location of position of mobile station. This task can be realized with the aid of position processor.
