SUBSTANCE: method of minimization of evaporator scale and removal of water and ammonium from water filtrate resulting from washing of synthetic gas obtained by gasification and partial oxidation of chloride-containing hydrocarbon material with aqueous ammonia having pH at least 6.0 followed by separation of ammonium-containing wash water, partly in the form of water filtrate, is distinguished by that the latter is fed into evaporation system to form water steam and salt solution, wherein concentration of ammonium is approximately 10 to 60 wt %, steam is separated from salt solution and further condensed to be returned as condensate into gasification zone.
