FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preparation of potassium sulfates, sodium sulfates and sodium chloride. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing potassium sulfate, sodium sulfate and sodium chloride from potassium chloride and sodium sulfate/water source in which potassium chloride, sodium sulfate and suspension from sodium chloride evolution stage and brine from glaserite decomposition stage are admitted into first stage where sodium sulfate and potassium chloride are dissolved so that glaserite precipitates. Suspension is concentrated and admitted to glaserite decomposition stage together with water. Potassium chloride is introduced directly or and/or with suspension stream by introducing excessive amount of potassium chloride into first stage. Solid potassium sulfate is isolated, washed and dried to prepare potassium sulfate. Mother liquor removed from reactor is recycled to glaserite preparation stage. Brine prepared in glaserite preparation stage is evaporated in evaporating crystallizer. Removal of water causes oversaturation with sodium chloride which precipitates. EFFECT: reduced service expenses and increased yield of the product. 7 cl, 4 dwg
