FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking patient blood from finger with heparin (10 units/ml) and diluted in Hanks solution in 1:100 proportion. Phagocytizing blood cells activity is determined by means of luminol- dependent biochemiluminescence method. The analysis is carried out with specific inductor like living suspension of Treponema pallidum (the first sample) and non-specific inductor like opsonized zymosan (the second sample) being applied. Chemoluminescence level ratio of the first to the second sample being greater than 1.1, early latent syphilis is to be diagnosed, otherwise false positive result of serologic syphilis test is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis; accelerated examination procedure. 2 tbl
