The motion sensor has an objective (19) via which received radiation can be passed to an infrared sensor, an evaluation device with input connected to the sensor and a housing (1) at least partly enclosing these components. A lens (11) placed in front of the objective is attached to the motion sensor's housing and the objective can be adjusted wrt. the lens in the direction of the radiation path.
