Production of a plastic granulate comprises: (a) mixing tinsel metals with a dispersant and a binder to a liquid dispersion dye or paste of required viscosity; (b) mixing a plastic granulate with the dye or paste in a mixer; and (c) drying the layer with the tinsel metal until it is foxed on the surface of the granulate. Other production processes are also claimed.
