The incubator includes first (10, 11) and second air supply channels (12, 13) extending over predetermined sections of a support surface (2) and associated with a corresponding gas current (24, 25). The air supply channels are equipped with a first (6) and a second temperature control arrangement (7) for the corresponding gas currents, adjustable on different temperatures. The incubator includes an air supply which results over air supply channels arranged at the broadsides of a support surface in such a way, that a gas current warmed up by a temperature control arrangement is conducted rising in the incubator interior. The gas current is subdivided in at least one first (24) and one second gas current (25). First air supply channels associated with the first gas current, are equipped with a first temperature control arrangement (6), and a second air supply channel associated with the second gas current, are equipped with a second temperature control arrangement. The first and second air supply channels extend over predetermined sections of the support surface, whereby the temperature control arrangements are adjustable on different temperatures.
