Nonlinear digital video or film cutting and mixing method for production of stereoscopic effect

The method involves removing cyan color values from one video- or film track, and red color values from another, parallel recorded video or film track. The resulting color values of corresponding pairs of frames of the tracks are added. The resulting frames are recorded on a new video or film track. The resulting video or film can be viewed on a television screen or computer monitor, using viewing glasses which have a higher permeability for a red color range on one side, and for a cyan color range on the other side.
