The arrangement achieves a connection between the electric motor drive shaft (2) and the driven shaft (4) using a coupling (3). The coupling consists of a plate fixed to the drive shaft. The plate has a central opening for the reception of the driven shaft and at least two electrically controllable coupling elements arranged on the plate which engage in a peripheral or peripherally similar direction to two opposite lying sections of the driven shaft and pulse operable in push-pull operation. The coupling elements have piezo elements.
