A routing head with variable width for wood working has a first router blade (14) with a flat central disc (12) bolted to a circular saw blade (9). Additional router blades (15) can be stacked onto the other side of the first router blade, with their teeth offset from one another. The stack is secured by threaded fasteners (21) and the cutting edges of the additional routers have a negative slope compared with the positive slope of the first router. This prevents axial forces from causing the saw blade to wander.
