The laser beam deflection device, as in P19802516.5, has 2 piezo elements (1,2) attached to 2 independent fixing points, with a lens (6) on the oscillating side of one piezo element and a laser diode or the output of a flexible optical fibre (21) on the oscillation side of the other piezo element. Both piezo elements are supplied with an electrical deflection voltage and are positioned so that the laser beam scans all points of a given surface.
