The projecting ribs (14) of a temperature plate (10) are engaged by the ribs (20) of a profile piece (16) leaving a narrow air gap between the ribs and the profile piece encloses the pipe (18) carrying the temperature controlling medium. The plate (10) has two end strips (12) projecting the same way as the plate ribs (14) and the profile piece also has ribs (26) which project the opposing way to the ribs (20) on the profile. A temperature controlled space (24) is formed by a cover plate (22) firmly or releasably joined to the plate strips (12) and a narrow air gap of 0.5-3 mm is formed between the plate and profile ribs (14 and 20).
