Pedal especially for motor vehicle brakes, has restoring spring with linear characteristic and arrangement that converts linearly increasing actuation increment into progressively increasing spring increment
The pedal has a pedal body (1) movable in the actuation direction against a restoring spring (10). The spring preferably has a linear characteristic and the pedal body has a bearing arrangement (11) that converts at least one linearly increasing actuation distance increment into a progressively increasing spring displacement increment and imposes it on the contacting spring.
