At least part of the control valve's(17) adjustable element(14) is movable at right angles to the axial direction of one pipe section(7). The valve element has an annular sealing profile which interacts with the aforementioned pipe section's end face(8) and is elastic in the axial direction of the pipe section. The sealing profile and/or the pipe section has guide faces through which the sealing profile is centred on the pipe section with axial displacement in the closing direction.
