Use of N-acyl amino acid surfactants to inhibit adsorption of lauryl ether sulfate on human skin during washing, especially in cosmetic or dermatological cleansing compositions

One or more anionic surfactants (I) selected from N-acyl amino acids and their salts are used to prevent or reduce adsorption of lauryl ether sulfate (II) on human skin during washing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) use of (I) for desorbing (II) from human skin; (2) a cosmetic or dermatological cleansing composition containing (I), more than 9 wt.% (II) and less than 5 wt.% inorganic salts.
